Prayer and Warfare for Worry, Fear, and Anxiety

Prayer

Lord, today I am reminded that You already know everything I have need of. You have my life and my future in the palm of Your hands and in that truth I find peace and rest. You have everything I have need of and You know better than me what I even need.

I do not have to figure situations out, but instead all I have to do is surrender them fully to You. Right now, this very moment, I lay my life down at Your feet, Father. My life is Yours. I take my hands off the situations I have been trying to control and I repent for holding on to them for so long. I have not been fully trusting You, but from this moment on I will put my faith and trust in You. You are a good Father and I know You love me. There are times I feel distant from You, but in those times I will press in harder and run to You-not away from You. I will not allow situations and circumstances that I do not understand to drive a wedge between the two of us. You are my Lord, Father, Friend, and Savior and I will not let anything or anyone make me doubt who You are in my life. Father, I am Yours.

I know nothing catches You off guard or surprises You. Even when the world feel chaotic You are in control and on the throne. When I am tempted to worry I will remind myself who You are. I refuse to let fear and worry consume my thoughts. I will find my peace and rest in You. I ask that You would pour out Your peace that passes all understanding on my heart, mind, and emotions. I pray it would sink deep into my heart and be anchored there. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Warfare

Enemy, I reject worry, fear, and any form of anxiety because I know I am in the hands of my Father. He loves me and He watches over me. He know every need I could ever have and His plans for my life are perfect. You cannot derail the plans He has for me. In the name of Jesus I command all your lies to be silent. You have no power in my life. I will lean on and trust the Word of God!! I find my peace and rest in Him. I command you to take your hands off my peace that is a gift from God and you may not touch it in the name of Jesus. It is MINE. It is my inheritance from my Father and you may not steal it from me one moment longer. I refuse all your attacks against my life and I walk in full victory given to me by my Father.

Luke 12:25-31

25 And which of you by worrying can add one hour to his life’s span? 26 So if you are not even able to do a very little thing [such as that], why are you worried about the rest? 27 Consider the lilies and wildflowers, how they grow [in the open field]. They neither labor nor spin [wool to make clothing]; yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory and splendor dressed himself like one of these. 28 But if this is how God clothes the grass which is in the field today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You of little faith! 29 So as for you, do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink; nor have an anxious and unsettled mind. 30 For all the [pagan] nations of the world greedily seek these things; and your [heavenly] Father [already] knows that you need them. 31 But [strive for and actively] seek His kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
