Spiritual Warfare

I often have people reach out to me because they are facing battles they do not feel like they have been prepared to fight. The battles I am referring to are spiritual battles. We are born into a world with enemies who hate us (demons).

John 10:10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.

When we are not prepared for spiritual warfare it is like going to a boxing match with no gloves, head gear, or mouth piece. We can stand in the ring and get hit over and over and feel like we are getting beat half to death. That is exactly what spiritual warfare is like when we do not know our weapons of warfare or how to use the weapons.
