According to 2 Corinthians 4:4 satan and his demons blind our loved ones and all those who are do not have a relationship with God to the truth of God’s Word. I have complied a list of prayers we can use to pray to God and also use in warfare against the demonic attacks on our loved ones.

2 Corinthians 4:4 among them the god of this world [Satan] has blinded the minds of the unbelieving to prevent them from seeing the illuminating light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

I did not write all the prayers below. I found some of them online on various sites. Some I added wording to and changed up some, but I wanted to make it clear that I did not write all of them.

Prayer

Father, I come before You in prayer and in faith, believing in Your miracle working power. Your Word says You desire all men to be saved and come into the knowledge of Your truth.

I ask You to bind the works of satan and all his demons in the lives of my unsaved loved ones. While Satan is bound, I ask that You send individuals to share the good news of the gospel in such a way that (loved ones name) will be able to hear, listen, understand, and respond to Your truth.

I am asking You to send laborers who are equipped with Your Word about salvation, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, healing and deliverance. Please send laborers who can silence the voice of the enemy and communicate effectively with (name of loved one) so Your Word can reach his/her heart. The enemy has blinded them to the truth found in Your Word, but I am asking You to remove the blinders so they can see and know Your truth. Your truth can and will set them free in the name of Jesus, so I am asking for Your truth to overtake them. I am asking You to break the power of Satan’s assignments, lies, blinding, and any other activities in (loved ones name)’s life in the Name of Jesus.

As Your truth is ministered, I stand by faith and fully believe he/she will open his/her eyes to the gospel, come out of the snare of the devil, surrender fully to You, and make You Lord of their life.

Warfare

To every demonic spirit that is operating in the life of my loved one, blinding (name of person) to the gospel to keep them out of the kingdom of God, I bind you now in the name of Jesus Christ. I belong to the Lord Jesus Christ. I carry His authority and righteousness, and in His Name I command you to desist in your maneuvers, hinderances, obstacles, and blindness in my loved one’s life. I command you to silence your lies in their life in the name of Jesus.

Examples of Using Scripture for Prayer

Father God, I know that no one can come to [Jesus] unless You draw them (John 6:44). I ask that You now draw _____________ to Yourself so that he/she may know You personally and spend eternity with You.

Lord God, I ask that You move upon _____________’s heart to accept the Truth of Christ. Give them a heart to know You, that You are the Lord, so that they will be Your people, and You will be their God, and may they return to You with all their heart (Jeremiah 24:7).

Father, please overwhelm _____________ with the reality of Your love for him/her, that he/she may “grasp how wide and long and high and deep You love is for them, and to know Your love that surpasses knowledge” (Ephesians 3:18-19).

Lord, use me in any way You can and want to in order to open _____________’s eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to You, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in You (Acts 26:18).

Lord, please show me specifically how to minister to each member of my family right where they are at in their situations. Reveal opportunities to share about You, and give me the strength to obey when You open the door.

Father God, Your Word says that godly sorrow brings repentance which leads to salvation and leaves no regret (2 Corinthians 7:10). Only You can open our eyes to the reality that all have sinned and fallen short of Your glory. Please come upon _____________ with a sense of godly sorrow for his/her sin, that he/she may repent, surrender to You, and be saved.

Dear Lord, please help ______ realize that You really are the only way to the Father. You are truth and life. Help her/him find You as the only path that she/he needs, You as the truth she/he craves to know, and You as her/his source of eternal life. Please help _______ see the beauty of a faith-filled relationship with You. John 14:6.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for providing Your light to our paths when we follow Your Word. Please open ____’s eyes to the light and truth that can only be found in the Your Word. Please break down the barriers that cloud her/him from understanding and accepting your Word as the light and truth she/he needs in his life. Psalm 119:105.

Dear Lord, I thank You that Your grace is a gift that You offer to us. Please allow _______ to see her/his need for Your gift of grace. Help her/him see she/he cannot save herself/himself through any actions of her/his own. Open her/his heart to understand that salvation from sins come only through You. Ephesians 2:8-10.

Father, Please give _____ an undivided heart for You. Fill ____ with a new spirit that can only be gained from knowing You fully and trusting You with his/her life. Please place a new heart of flesh in him/her and remove all signs of his/her current heart of stone. Ezekiel 11:19-20.
