Testimonies are so powerful! I love hearing what all God is doing in the lives of His children. It builds my faith and reminds me of the miracle working God we serve. It fills my heart with joy every time I hear of His goodness! Nothing is impossible for Him and no prayer is to big or to little.

Never doubt the power of your testimony. When God brings you through something, no matter how big or how small, share it with others. You never know who is going through the same thing and how your victory will minister to them. Someone needs to hear what God has done for you so they know He can do it for them.

You could share about when you were first saved, a miracle He has done in your life, a time He made a way when it seemed like there was no way, or something He has taught you in your life. I want to encourage you to start looking for ways to share what He has done in your life with others.

There are people that would never step inside a church or listen to you share the Bible with them, but when you start talking about your personal life they pay attention because they more than likely can relate. That is one of the reasons why testimonies are so powerful. Don’t be afraid to be transparent and show them your mistakes and failures and the way God has picked you up out of your mess. Sometimes we are so careful to show only the good parts of our lives, but people also need to see and know what God has done to clean us up and put us back together.

Also, if God has brought you through something don’t forget to go back and get the ones still stuck in their battle. We are meant to help others fight and win their victory. Shine the light in the dark places and show them the way Jesus led you out. He gave you the roadmap out so that you can help others as well!!
