I have been noticing lately that there are people who the enemy has convinced they will never get free. They run around and around and around searching for that one legal right/open door that’s left that is keeping them in bondage and yet it eludes them. Many times it is because their bondage is in thinking that there is more legal rights and open doors.

Deliverance ministry is very simple. You must have the legal rights of the enemy (demons) removed and the doors closed to them. You do that through prayer, repentance, breaking word curses, breaking generational curses, cleaning out your house of any items that could be inviting the demons in, forgiving those who have hurt you, breaking agreement with lies that has been accepted as truth, and at times going through some healing first in order to lay the foundation for freedom. Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection gives us access to total freedom. When we ask for Him to break generational curses He does. When we ask for forgiveness, we are given forgiveness and that release the legal hold of the enemy on our lives. Unforgiveness is also huge. In order to be free we must forgive everyone who has hurt us.

Once we have closed those doors and removed the demonic legal rights to our lives we can then verbally command the demons to leave in the name of Jesus and they must go. This part is not an easy process because they still do not want to go but as long as you stay diligent, they have to leave in the name of Jesus.

I think the issue of people getting stuck in the bondage of seeking open doors/legal rights where there is none is twofold. One, I think people go through deliverance and think they will never be attacked by demons again and that is just not accurate. We will always undergo attacks. Deliverance removes the demons from our bodies, but it does not stop the demons from trying to get back in and also attacking us. Two, I think the enemy whispers lies to them saying they’re missing something or that what they are missing is so difficult they cannot possibly remove the legal right. They search all over for people to help them, but they do not get answers because what they are looking for isn’t what they think it is. They become hopeless, frantic, or give up on trying to get free because that one thing that is still hanging onto them is alluding them. They search and seek and seek, but they don’t find freedom. They feel like they can’t possibly get free because the one part that’s holding them back is missing. And no matter how much they are shown/told the truth they still cannot accept it because they are in bondage to the lie from the enemy. The lie is the bondage, but they are not seeing it.

I am not negating the fact that sometimes, often times, people need more than one deliverance session. Deliverance often happens in layers. Part of the deliverance process is learning how to walk out our deliverance and maintain it. What I am talking about is people who are to the point where they feel like they are running frantically around and around and around seeking for that one thing that is holding them back from their freedom, and it alludes them over and over. I am seeing this happen more, and it is bondage of the enemy. It is the enemy trying to convince people that no matter how hard they try they will never be free. Jesus came to set us free and freedom is simple. It is not easy, but the deliverance process is simplistic.

My heart is to see everyone free and it saddens me to see some so bound by a spirit of deception. They want freedom so much, but they just feel like it will never happen.

I hope this makes sense and that I have not confused anyone. We do have to close the doors to demons and remove their legal rights through repentance, house cleaning, breaking patterns of sin—that isn’t what I am referring to in this post. What I am talking about is the bondage of never getting the legal rights/doors closed-which is a lie of the enemy.
