The world is full of fear and messages of fear, but God does not want us to live in fear. Demons would like nothing more than to paralyze us with fear. Below you can find scriptures and prayers to combat the attacks of fear on your mind. 

Scriptures for Overcoming Fear (Speak them out loud over your life.)

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.”

Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation—Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the refuge and fortress of my life—Whom shall I dread?

Psalm 118:6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can [mere] man do to me?

Proverbs 3:25-26 Do not be afraid of sudden fear Nor of the storm of the wicked when it comes [since you will be blameless]; For the Lord will be your confidence, firm and strong,

And will keep your foot from being caught [in a trap].

Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in and puts his confidence in the Lord will be exalted and safe.

Isaiah 41:10 ‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’

Prayer

Lord, forgive me for the times I walk in fear and fail to put my total trust in You. Help me to surrender fully to You and put my life completely in Your hands. Help me to never forget that my life belongs to you Lord, so I do not have to ever give in to fear.

Lord, I will be strong and courageous. I will not be afraid or dread any situation I walk through because I know You are with me. You will never fail or abandon me. Deuteronomy 31:6. You are my light and my salvation. Who or what should I fear? I know You are my refuge and my fortress and because of that I never have to walk in dread or fear. Psalm 27:1.

Father, You are on my side so I will never fear anything! I am never alone because You are always with me. Psalm 118:6. I will not be afraid of sudden fear, storms, or attacks of the wicked because I have confidence in You. You are my strength and You will keep me safe. My confidence is in You. Proverbs 3:25-26.

I do not look to man for answers, but I fully put my confidence and trust in You. Proverbs 29:25. Because You are with me I will not fear anything. You are my God! You give me strength. You have promised in Your Word to take hold of me with Your righteous right hand. A hand that is full of justice, power, victory, and salvation. I choose to stand on Your promises no matter what I face!!

Spiritual Warfare

Listen up demons. I am putting you on notice that I am strong and courageous and I will not walk in fear because my God is with me! He will never fail me or abandon me. He fights my battles! Deuteronomy 31:6.

The Lord is my light and my salvation and because of that I do not fear you or your attacks. Psalm 27:1. God is for me and He is on my side! Psalm 118:6.

God is my confidence and His strength will keep me safe and from being caught in your traps. Proverbs 3:25-26. I put my full confidence in Him and His Word says because of that He will keep me safe. Proverbs 29:25. His Word is true and He cannot fail.

He is my God and He tells me to not fear anything because He is with me. You cannot separate me from my Father. He will give me strength and He will help me. Isaiah 41:10. I will walk in victory because of my Father. So right now I command every demon that is trying to attack me to be silent and leave in the name of Jesus. You have no hold over me and you must go. I put you on notice that I resist you and according to God’s Word that means you must flee so go now in the name of Jesus!! James 4:7.
