So many times we stay quiet about the battles we are facing. We are ashamed or even feel like no one cares, but that is a lie from the enemy in order to isolate us in our pain. He wants to separate us from God and also other Christians. There is power in numbers and the enemy knows that.

Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Many times the enemy tries to get us isolated in our problems and circumstances because the more isolated we are the weaker we can become. Look at animals when they hunt. They will try to find one animal, among the pack, and drive it away from the others. Once they have it isolated they go in for the kill. Our enemy acts in the same way.

If you are struggling I encourage you to reach out for prayer and support. Don’t let the enemy lie to you and say that no one cares. The week I got deliverance I posted on FaceBook and asked people to fast and pray with me for a week. That was not something I would have ever done on my own, but I felt the prompting of God to do it. I had people that I did not even know reach out to offer support and I was set free from a lifetime of mental illness and torment.

The enemy lies and says you are all alone but you are not! People love and care about each person reading this message. You matter, you are loved, and you are special! God loves you no matter what is going on or what you have done.

I also want to encourage you to always take it seriously when someone asks you for prayer. Many people are hurt, lost, and struggling. When they reach out, you may be their last life line. We can get so easily get wrapped up in our own situations that we can forget we are surrounded by others who are lost and hurting.

Reach out to others, check on each other, offer a kind word, offer a prayer to God for those in your life. You never know what is really going on behind that smile.
