Lord, today I pray for Your church. I pray that each one of us, who call ourselves Your followers, will take time to search our hearts and that we would also ask You to search our hearts as well. God, I ask You to wake us up to any apathy, lukewarmness, compromise, and sin that we have allowed to creep into the church and our personal lives. I pray we would no longer offer excuses or try to justify our sin and the sin that is flowing in and through many churches. Please wake us up Lord.

May we be the people You created us to be. May we look to You and Your Word for guidance and not the world, society, or culture. May we be different because Your Word tells us to be different. May we shine Your light into the dark places and refuse to bow to the temptation to just fit in, not rock the boat, or fear of not being liked. May we walk in boldness just like Your disciples did in the Bible. May we refuse to live compromised lives.

God, I am asking You to wake us up and shake us out of our comfort zones so that we become who You have called us to be. May there be no more line walking where we try to keep one foot in the world and one foot in Your kingdom. The truth is there is no line and there is no fence. We are either serving You or we are serving the devil.

Lord, please remove deception from our minds. Your Word has been so twisted and misused by so many in the church. Father I am asking for a spiritual detox to remove every single lie we have accepted as truth. Lord Your Word is true, and it is unchanging. May we base our lives on Your truth and nothing else. Emotions will lie, perceptions will lie, but God Your Word is true, and it is unchanging. Help us to live by Your truth and not our feelings, traditions, or what we think is right because it feels right.

Lord, I am asking You to wake up the worshippers. Those who will choose to worship You in Spirit and truth. This who will refuse to look at our situations but will instead praise You through every single mountain and every single valley. May the worshipers arise without fear of not fitting in or fear of what others think. May we worship You though every season of life and not just when things are going our way.

Father, please expose and remove all wolves who are hiding in sheep’s clothing. I am asking for a season of exposing false teaching and that it be removed from Your church. I am asking for a return to Godly values. I am asking for a return to knowing what it means to be a Christian, to be Christ like. Help us to live a life of no more games, no more excuses, and no more compromises. For the ones who are masquerading as Your followers I am asking You to remove the mask so they can no longer deceive Your people.

Father, I am asking You to start with me. Strip away anything in me that is not from You. Please remove any lies I have accepted as truth about You, Your Word, and myself. God, I want to live a sold-out life for You where I walk in Your boldness and Your truth.
