Fight for Your Family

Sometimes it can be really easy to look at unanswered prayers, especially ones for those we love, and get discouraged. We may even question God and His timing. We can easily end up feeling helpless. I want to encourage you to refuse to let those emotions over take you. The truth is we are not helpless. We have the greatest weapon and that is prayer.

When you do not know what to pray just say His name……Jesus. So many times the only words I can get out are “Lord, I don’t even know what to pray for this situation, so I am just asking You to do what only You can do.”

Lay those burdens down at His feet and refuse to carry them on your own. Somedays that may mean laying them down 100 times, but keep doing it. You are not alone. He sees you, He hears you, and He knows you.

1 Peter 5:7 having cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares about you.

Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

So many times demons try to use our circumstances to get us stuck in patterns of worry, fear, doubt, and anxiety.

Prayer and Warfare for Anxiety, Fear, and Worry

Prayer

Lord, today I am reminded that You already know everything I have need of. You have my life and my future in the palm of your hands and in that truth I find peace and rest. You have everything I have need of and You know better than me what I even need. I do not have to figure situations out, but instead all I have to do is surrender them fully to You. Right now, this very moment, I lay my life down at Your feet, Father. My life is Yours. I take my hands off the situations I have been trying to control and I repent for holding on to them for so long. I have not been fully trusting You, but from this moment on I will put my faith and trust in You. You are a good Father and I know You love me. There are times I feel distant from You, but in those times I will press in harder and run to You, not away from You. I will not allow situations and circumstance that I do not understand drive a wedge between the two of us. You are my Lord, Father, Friend, and Savior and I will not let anything or anyone make me doubt who You are in my life. Father, I am Yours.

I know nothing catches You off guard or surprises You. Even when the world feels chaotic You are in control and on the throne. When I am tempted to worry I will remind myself who You are. I refuse to let fear and worry consume my thoughts. I will find my peace and rest in You. I ask that You would pour out Your peace that passes all understanding on my heart, mind, and emotions. I pray it would sink deep into my heart and be anchored there.

Lord, Your Word says that I should not fear anything because You are with me. I am choosing to stand on the knowledge and truth that You are with me. I will not be afraid because You are my God. You have said in Your Word that you will strengthen and help me so I know there is nothing to fear. Right now I choose to stop looking at my circumstance and get my eyes fully on You, trusting You, leaning on You, and standing on the truth of Your Word. Your Word cannot fail and I trust You. Please forgive me for the times I allow distractions to take my eyes off You and the truth found in Your Word.

Warfare (Verbalize This Part)

Demons, I reject worry, fear, and any form of anxiety because I know I am in the hands of my Father. He loves me and He watches over me. He knows every need I could ever have and His plans for my life are perfect. You cannot derail the plans He has for me. In the name of Jesus I command all your lies to be silent. You have not power in my life. I will lean on and trust the Word of God. I find my peace and rest in Him. I command you to take your hands off my peace that is a gift from God and you may not touch it in the name of Jesus. It is MINE. It is my inheritance from my Father and you may not steal it from me one moment longer. I refuse all your attacks against my life and I walk in the full victory given to me by my Father.

The Word of God tells me that my God is with me. I will not be afraid because my God goes before me in every battle. He gives me strength and help. He never abandons me and when you mess with me you are messing with one of God’s children. So right now in the name of Jesus I command all demons of fear, worry, doubt, and anxiety to be silent in the name of Jesus. I cancel your assignments over my life in the name of Jesus and I command you to leave now.

Pray to the Lord for your family and loved ones, and then release them to Him—as often as it takes. Reject worry, fear, and doubt, but instead rest in the presence of your Father.

Blessings,

Nichole Henson
